Statistics of Coal Harbour real estate in Canada - A great market to invest

Beautiful Coal Harbour has weathered quite a bit ever since it first set up business as an exclusively industrial waterfront working zone. It's difficult to realize that it's merely been a short fifteen years since this residential community was first conceived as a possible addition to the Burrard Inlet. As of today, Coal Harbour real estate is made of concrete high-rise luxurious townhouses and condos, presenting a close distance to both the waterfront parks (including Stanley Park and the famous one thousand acre Evergreen Oasis along the border of Downtown Vancouver) and the city's Business District, which comprises of many shopping centers along Denman St. and Robson St.

In its brief fifteen years of existence, this humble community, complete with 23 acres, has turned into the pinnacle of urban communities, and is constantly improving. Just in 2009, for example, Vancouver built a luxurious Shangri-la Zen hotel, setting the bar at 61 stories, and plans are already being made for further highrise condos! Also, just in time for the 2010 Winter Olympic games, work has already started on the new convention centre which is closely located next to the tall buildings of Coal harbour condos.

Burrard Inlet's eight acre waterfront park is an place to go for walks along the seawall, for glimpsing the North Shore Mountains, seeing Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park and admiring another bridge that extends from Downtown all the way to the North Shore. We have for instance a great view from our REMAX Vancouver office located in Coal Harbour.

One of the most intriguing aspects about Coal Harbour is its peaceful atmosphere that residents experience, even though it is so near to the center of Downtown. Of course, there is fairly heavy traffic on those central streets and the meticulously allotted commercial spots that take in the residential communities; however, there is always something to look at when you have such incredible views to take in from every part of town.
